Feeding Guidelines: Keep frozen until ready to use. Defrost next day's portion in refrigerator. Some liquid when thawed is normal. Always have fresh, clean water available for your pet. New Users: Mix Stella & Chewy's with your current brand for the first 5-7 days.
Transitioning Guidelines: A slow changeover is recommended so that your pet’s digestive system can adjust to the new diet. Begin with a mixture of 25% of Stella & Chewy’s and 75% of the old diet. After feeding your pet that combination for 2-3 days, switch to a 50/50% diet. Again, wait another 2-3 days and then switch to a mixture of 75% Stella & Chewy’s and 25% old diet. After another 2-3 days, you can switch to 100% Stella & Chewy’s. Your pet might experience some digestive issues during this transition period. This is completely normal and will pass. Please note that these are guidelines. Always consult your veterinarian, especially for pregnant or nursing dogs.

Dedicated manufacturing plant. All Stella & Chewy’s products are produced, from start to finish, at our own federally-inspected plant in Muskego, Wisconsin.

Advanced oxidation cells. To further prevent contamination by surface and air-borne pathogens during processing, we use a series of devices that emit low levels of safe, pathogen-fighting gases such as ozone and hydrogen peroxide.
Independent laboratory testing. Not only do we have state-of-the-art food safety systems in place, but every batch is tested before shipping. We send samples to an independent laboratory to be tested for E. coli O157:H7 and Salmonella.
